Default 1996 Integra w/ Jdm H22a using a place racing mount kit? Is the kit Junk?

Okay I did the swap about 2 1/2 years ago, and have had problems with my axles. I used a Place Racing mount kit (yellow mounts used all of them) Trans, driver side and rear. And well the first time i bought place racing axles that they recomend using. They lasted about 6 months and i destroyed the passanger side axle, so then i bought a set of driveshaftshop.com axles which look alot better and seem to do a much better job. But i was inspecting the driveshaftshop.com axles just the other day and noticed that the passanger side has a torn boot... I dont autocross, drag race, and its N/A so like stock hp and normal driving... Well my question is the place racing mount kit, is it junk? or is the set up in my car wrong? Do people recomend the HaSport kit? Just curios if anyone eles is having problem with there EG/DC H22 swaped axles? I would appricate any help or info guys, Thanks...

The HASPort and HCP mount kits are the best in my opinion. I've never used Place but I come across a lot of posts and experiences from people that have used them and it seems they have the same issues - axles. If it were me, I would change to HCP and use the Accord int. shaft and Integra axles. The engine placement and axle alignment are as they should be plus the price is hard to beat.

Iam using the HCP kit in my del sol w/ prelude intermediate & 89 teg axles. Haven't had any binding issues since I switched to the 89 axles, and my car is very low. I have only heard negative things about the place racing mount kit, so I steered away from that when I did my swap.

Place Racing is ok for a while, but I wouldn't recommend 'em for long time use.

I'd go with HASport or HCP by far more than Place Racing.

i also have placeracing mount in my eg/h22, the axle problem suxs, my driver side axle alway bind and cv boot alway tears, i think the problem is that the engine sits to far back compare to other mount kit i've seen, so if making the engine sit up more, it can help the axles line up a little better, the engine lay further back to the firewall to much,

Well i would like to switch to the HCP kit but that kit uses the stock transmission body mount, which haves to be removed to use the place racing or hasport kit. So I guess i need a hasport kit. Does anyone know of who or where i can find the Hasport kit for a decent price??? Thanks alot everyone for your info

Holy Thread ressurection @ 3am h-t!

Anyhow, I was reading though this thread and there were a few things I would like to confirm...

1. Place Racing is junk, I've read this time and time again in every thread that I open up.

2.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by VTECVillain &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">The HASPort and HCP mount kits are the best in my opinion. Does he mean 94-01 axles or 87-89 axles?

Thanks guys-Eric

HCP recommends accord shaft and 90-93 teg axles.
