Default Window Cable

ok guys i searched here adn on S2ki and couldnt find anything.

today i was putting the top up, once it was up and latched i went to roll the windows up and then i hear noise form the passenger side.. i look over and my window is SLOWLY going down.. im like expletive it came off track...

so i wait till i get home and pull the panel off..... the Cable broke.. ****!!!

has this happened to anyone else?
easy fix?

now i cant drive it and have to drive the corolla out in the rain....

n e one have a manuel because i dont if not imma gonna have to take it to Honda which i dont wanna do....

goto a parts store and look in one of their books, then order the parts if its something u can do

went to majestic honda and looked it up.. doesnt look like i can just change out the cable.. looks like i have to get the whole motor.....

the cable on item 1 that runs from the lower section to the upper half is what broke.

Probably not that bad, it sucks *** the design when the cable breaks you have to get the whole motor and cable assembly....

It doesn't look that hard. I can reach the cable reel and whatnot with my hands, with the panels off.

i took the panel off to check it yesterday and it doesnt look like much rom for just a hand...

You should just be able to change out the cable, not the whole motor or window regulator.
