Default test pipe help

i bought a test pipe and put in on my car along with a mechanical o2 sim which is basically made out of bolts and the o2 screw into that. it worked for about 3 days and then the check engine light came up. so i hooked the obd2 up to it and deleted the codes and it came back a few hours later. has nayone else had this problem. should i get an electrical simulator?

make sure the tip clear from the exhaust stream .... or maybe the secondary o2 itself is faulty...

Did you bore the hole out on the smaller of the two spark plug anti-fouler pieces?

Nah it fits. Just that the hole is too small sometimes and throws a lower voltage.

are you using one? or both of the anti-foulers? some threads will say to use only one, but use both to be sure.

If it’s a 07 like your membership, you’re fcuked… ap1 vs. ap2 have different part #’s for o2 sensors. The 07 is different than all others. Basically, the newer the S, the more difficult it is to fool the secondary.

I’m not sure what dictates what (the ecu or the sensor) you can try it out and tell me. I have an o7 but I sold my pipe for this very reason.

for your top anti-fouler. take a 1/2 inch drill bit and go all the way through. that way your o2 sensor will sit right in it. you don't have to do the bottom one, it just acts as an extension.
