Default megan racing test pipe intsalled

So I just got the test pipe the other day and put it in my 03 si, was a little harder then I thought because of the shield over the stock cat was in the way and those bolts are tiny and in an awkward position, but didn't take to long. The lift at work probably helped a ton. The test pipe actually didn't make my car that much louder, my exhaust is pretty quiet though, so I'm happy about that.

It did set off my check engine light as to be expected. I've heard of something you plug into the sensor to get rid of that, anyone know of anything?

I found this, its the Weapon R Cel eliminator kit. Its sold by N1 Concepts for only 44.99, it eliminates the check engine light and gives your car the correct air to fuel ratio. I'm gonna order one and let you guys know.

Say goodbye to your exhaust valves in 3,000 miles.

How do you figure that?? Running full exhaust with a test pipe instead of a cat. NOT OPEN HEADER!!!!

Guess alot of the guys here where I live have just been fortunate. I can think of at least 10 cars with test pipes and full exhaust that have been running around for YEARS and never burnt an exhaust valve. Now, open header is a totally different story.

Every catless honda I've ever torn apart had leaking exhaust valves. Some of these cars had very good compression, but they still had leaky valves. Many of them will have a rough idle when cold, but when it warms up, it'll run like a champ.
