I installed my Ek fogs into my s2k and wired everything up. They worked fine for about 2 days and now they don't work.
All the wires seem fine and the harness is good also.
Finally found out that the fog light switch took a **** on me.
My question is that I'm running 100w bulbs in there instead of the normal 55w.
Would those bulbs cause the switch to go out like that or was it just a bad switch?

No, the bulbs shouldn't overload the switch, there's a relay in the system. You may however, want to upgrade the wiring that goes to the bulbs... Run your own relay and bigger wires. I've seen big bulbs burn stock wires and stock harnesses...

Yeah im sure it's wired correctly. I know the bulbs are giving extra wattage and the switch was too weak to support it. I heard that the non OEm switches go out anyway.
I went out and bought a switch from mylocal autozone and i now it should be able to handle it.
Just gonna put a mini 10amp fuse in there to see if it blows.
My main concern is if the wiring will burn over time?
