Default map sensor replace! still same problem

i had a low idle issue, so i replace the map sensor ... but i still have the same problem, when car come to a complete start the car just shut off.

what can i do? any advise?

you mean when your car comes to a complete stop? if so it sounds like it could be a faulty idle air control valve

Also clean your throttle body. There is a small passage that allows air to get to the MAP. If it gets partially blocked, it can cause problems with idle.

most carb cleaner you can buy today is carb+throttle body, i guess it's a generic name of the product that people associate with.

are you getting low idle? or stalling? or lumpy weird idle?


1)check the map sensor's rubber seal, it will give you crappy idle if it doesnt sit right

2)dirty manifold, very often case with the S, you have no idea how much the pvc suck in the oil straight to the mani.

3)carbon build up in the cylinder, use honda top engine cleaner, it got rid of my stalling once and for all.
