Yeah i know, honestly i didn't even know your were a mod until about a week ago.
I can understand inappropriate posts getting deleted from other threads but I think from this thread is a little overboard. I mean this is supposed to be a tech forum and a lot of time people are treated like crap and not helped because we don't agree with that they are trying to do or they are asking a question that has been asked a billion times. The forum is a business, in order for it to be successful it has to provide helpful information so people keep coming back.
I just wish they would leave this thread alone

the diff is actually made pretty well... its just not meant to handle 8k drops... its a track car not a drag car... the only time you do hear people with exploded diffs is because they abused the car... reddots is a different case... i just dont think he knows how to drive...
So I'm not as hard on my **** as you all think, i just have terrible luck

Re: I'm sorry mods... I think we need a rambling thread.
is there a reason for your signature?
thats not terrible luck bro, thanks get hit by lightning on a clear sunny day type ****...
only if it means no s2k's get sacrificed in the process
thats what she said
Only one diff broke due to driver error (Original AP1 Diff). The second AP1 diff had a axle seal leak and lost fluid which resulted sheering gears once all the fluid leaked out. The Third diff was a ap2 diff with 70k on it already. I used a non-synthetic fluid and 10k miles later it started whining. When i pulled it apart it showed excessive gear wear, which means it was not aligned right or the fluid was not lubricating it correctly. And now I'm on my fourth and it seems to be holding up.
So I'm not as hard on my **** as you all think, i just have terrible luck

Well.. the Silver one's destined to be sold already and I'm clearing up the registration day by day. So that means there would only be one left which wouldn't qualify as "s2k's" but rather "s2k". So I guess I'm in the clear

Man **** this forum's tech section. Every time I post something, people jump all over what I say and put words into my mouth, and read things that aren't there. I finally understand why some very insightful people stop posting. I guess I'll stop and leave it to the shop owners, sponsors, whatevers do all the work and have the community believe that there's only their way to do things.
