Hahhahaha. You could say that, but then I could say that you don't know me.

He should really use the AP2 tranny; you end up with shorter 1-4 gear, and slightly longer 5th and 6th. Mentioned something like "enjoying the torque", so I figured he went all the way with the tranny also.

I dont expect an apology or need one. I just wanted to give some feedback to the guy asking the question on what he should do.

I wanted to make sure the proper info was floating around, I've been a member since I did my first engine swap when I was 18 and had an eg hatch. I've enjoyed HOnda-Tech greatly but there is so much misinformation being posted by people that can be confusing to a lot of people who are attempting to work on their car.

Such as the post with the guy who said the timing chain was against the firewall, if you've never done it or looked at the engine with the vavle cover off, how can you possibly post such crap to other users.

Anyway, I dont have much time to troll around on here but like to give some opinions/comments when I can.

The last thing I need is to get into a PC web board fight with any other uers.

My post was assuming that the person doing the swap would've been smart enough to pull the mounts off the F20 and use them on the F22. And yes I bought a 1 block or long block so I did use the AP1's tranny and the propeller shaft problem didn't occur.

Cheers to all.

I wasn't giving you any crap. You've already done the swap, and it works, so kudos. I've done the swap, and it hasn't blown up. No big deal.

My fault was that I assumed you used the F22 tranny. Using the F20 tranny makes it much easier.

Regarding the cam chain thread, if you've read the whole thing, I was giving **** to user "empathy" because he drives a Prelude and posts a lot of senseless crap here. He didn't catch that, my point was made.

And yes, my valve cover has come off once or twice, I know where the cam chain is. Keyword: Cometic 2mm head gasket.
