believe me my S had TONS of life in it.... but its no longer around so we cant speak on that.....
i never said that the air the motor sucks in is as pure as can be, a motor will last as long as the driver permits it....

timg is right-- it's not turbulence but a drop in the air pressure. ur restricting the flow. yes the velocity stack will help reduce turbulence, but having mesh wire won't add turbulence. the difference is gonna be a couple hp lost for saving ur motor and helping to ensure that it wont get **** sucked into it. some people are smart and would prefer that.

hehehe, It looks kinda like someone bolted an exhaust to the wrong side of the engine. lol........ No offense, I just can't resist making fun of stuff, it's a curse. btw, what kind of gains do you get with a setup like that?
