where do I find the error code?
find the blue plug in the center (i think i'm a lil rusty) and put a wire or paper clip in both the holes to short it out. turn your key to acc and look at your CEL to see if it blinks. that'll throw out all the codes and then you can look them up in a manual or online somewhere
lol the things i do for strangers... i just checked it out in my car, good excuse to have a smoke. anyways, it's behind the center console. just reach back there and look for 2 plugs that are chillin not connected to anything. there's a gray one with 3 holes and a blue one with 2 holes. you stick something in the blue plug to complete the circuit and turn your key to acc. it'll flash the codes on your check engine light if there are any. if you don't have a helms manual i can send you the one i downloaded. its kinda big though so it'd have to be done over aim or something. check on icelord.net i'm not sure if he still has his ftp up or not. and IM me with the answer to that question. bye bye hope that helped out more the second time
if you turn yourself upside down under the sterring wheel, it will be to your left behind the middle console edge. you wont be able to see the blue one as it is on the other side of the gray one. you will know your in the right area when you see the white brown and blue wires.
the blue plug is just next to the grey one. and it has 2 wires.
