Warped Timing Balancer Belt Drive Pulley?
My crankshaft pulley was wobbling and making a weird super light scraping metal on metal noise.
I replaced the cracked crankshaft pulley and also inspected the bolt to make sure it wasnt over torqued from the previous owner and it wasnt.
The noise stopped but the slight wobble is still there. WTF? I inspected the next thing in line which was the Timing Balancer Belt Drive Pulley. The thing is all metal or whatever so I couldnt tell, but is it possible that it may be warped or something? Please help! Thanx in advance as always....

Re: Warped Timing Balancer Belt Drive Pulley?
UPDATE: Ended up replacing Crankshaft pulley round the time of last post. It was still a little wobbly.
Last week the pulley and crankshaft finally gave and ended up grinding each other down. If you have a wobbly Crankshaft, its safe to say your gonna need to get a new motor sometime down the road. Seemed like the little key got sheared and everything finally went to hell...
Just ordered a new JDM motor...

Re: Warped Timing Balancer Belt Drive Pulley?
A recommendation to all honda owners (having had a crank pulley issue myself).
ALWAYS replace the crank pulley bolt every time you do a timing belt or have to remove the pulley for some reason.
The threads on the pulley bolt are designed to stretch when torqued down. Re-using the bolt once the threads are stretched just promotes the bolt to shear off eventually.
