Icon2 vtec light question.

i found a few vtec indicator light posts and they all pretty much said ground the l.e.d anywhere and then run the power wire strait to the solenoid signal wire that goes to the ecu and splice into it.

my question is (from my limited electricity knowledge) wouldn't that power from the solenoid just to strait to the l.e.d and to ground instead of to the ecu? or am i missing something? i just want to make sure nothing gets f-ed up.

you're not disconnecting the wire to the ecu. just basically teeing into it. like when you wire sidemarkers into your turn signals. they both get a signal.
