Default Tranny Problems

Alright well not sure what happened, or what's wrong so I'll ask here.

Yesterday it drove fine and everything worked and was good. I was able to shift gears and everything normally. Now today when I try and goto work I can't shift into gear, unless you push it hard into gear.

When the car is off I'm able to shift into all of the gears w/o pressing the clutch at all, it goes into every gear fine. But once the car turns on I can't get into any gear.

Anyone know what's up?

Yeah when the car is off I'm able to shift into every gear, even if I'm pressing the clutch or not. But right when it turns on I'm not able to shift it at all unless I SHOVE it into gear.

I'm gonna try and have someone look at it tommrow and see if I can get it fixed.

I would check the master cylinder and the slave cylinder. Same thing happened to me. One day it was fine, the next day the gears wouldn't get in.

Ok So I checked all 3 of the reservoirs today and they all were full. Like not to the tippy-top of the brim but most of it is. I circled which ones I checked in the pic. Did I not check the right one, or is it something else?

The small one on the right side s the clutch reservoir. The other two are the brake fluid and ABS fluid.

Alright thanks, just wanted to make sure I checked the right one.

So far I've heard change the tranny oil and it will fix, fill up the clutch reservoir, bleed the clutch reservoir, clutch spring and the whole clutch.

I figure I'm just gonna try the cheaper fluid stuff first and hope that it ends up fixing it.

Do something first, get beneath the dash, and check the rod that connects to the pedal, if it's greasy, you got a bad cylinder.
