It is time.
I think that it is time for me to do a serious tuneup. My car is a 98 with 75000 miles and it has been running like crap. I do regular oil changes but my car is still running terrible. What do you guys think is good to do if I havnt had a tuneup in 15000 miles. I have about 600 dollars to spend on a tune up. Anyone know any good shops in South florida
new timing belt (yer just about due anyways)
waterpump (might as well at the same time)
valve adjustment
new air intake filter
new oil filter/new oil
replace oil filter o-ring (same time)
new spark plugs
new cap and rotor (or just rotor if the cap has no cracks, and the points look fine)
check timing.
check brakes - rotors and pads
flush coolant/rad/refill with a system bleed.
drain/refill transmission oil
flush powersteering
etc...
