Default Tightening E-Brake

I was wondering if anyone off hand knew of a simple way to tighten the hand brake in a 4th gen. My problem, to be more specific, is that my rear wheels have trouble locking up, even when i pull up all the way. I will roll backward on steep inclines. Basically i just dont trust it.

I would first check your brake pads.

But if you really need to adjust it, pull out your center console and you should see a bracket holding two wires. In the middle is the adjusting nut. Turn it to adjust accordingly.
