Icon2 switching core and cap to higher volt core

hey guys, i got my 97 prelude and i want to put on a high volt core (the one im looking at puts out 46,000 volts). how much of a difference would that make in the car? o and its a stock h22 with just an full exhaust and intake.

Do you mean a high voltage COIL? If so, nope it won't do a damn thing for you.

I have no idea what a "high volt core" is. I'm assuming that you're referring to the ignition coil.

Why do want to do this? Because some sucker marketing told you to?

Absolutely no difference.

The stock ignition system is good to 400hp+ and is composed of top quality components already. Leave it alone.

If you are replacing a defective coil then sure why not but there should be no need for a higher output coil on an engine without mechanical issues.

hey sry guy ive been off line for a while and yes i ment a hight voltage...sry i wasnt paying attention when i typed it... and thanks guys i wasnt really sure if it would even do anything my stock coil housing is crack and i was gonna just replace it and was thinking of just putting a higher voltage coil on.
