right now i have a CEL on and cant check code because im on obd1 p28. i tired to put my stock ecu in but it just cranks over only. fuel is coming in and nothing is wrong with the dizzy. i then put the jumper harness and p28 back in and it starts right up. what could be wrong here as to why my stock ecu wont start the car?

 

What car, what motor?

 

You could check the code when using OBD1 ecu. Just jump the service connector and count the flashes. Is your car a 5th gen?

 

this is the Honda Prelude section isnt it? if its in the wrong section ill have it moved... its a h22a4. yea 5th gen.

 

When you put back your stock ecu, how do you know you got fuel coming in? Did you actually check? And is that ecu is the same one you pull out before you run P28?

 

i can hear the pump. it is not the exact same one i took out but its for the same car. obd2 5spd base ecu

 

Did this one work fine before you removed it?

It is but people come in here that own civic's and integra' or other cars with h22/h23/f-series swaps and have questions. Also there are 5 gens of prelude and a couple different motors, so we can't guess your particular application.

Why are you running a P28? That may help narrow down somethings.

 

im running p28 cause i wanted to go obd1 and my motor is built. 11.5:1

is it the original ECU?

 

Your car runs fine with P28? With Hondata or what? Do you still have a stock injectors? Fuel pressure?
Put down more info if you need some help.

 

all i want to know is why my car does not run with a stock ecu and why it does run with the p28 w/hondataS200 and yes upgraded fuel injectors and fuel 40psi

 

nvm i got my answer from someone else..it had nothing to do with some of the questions u guys ask..
