shock setting?
is it bad to adjust the shocks? ( turning the *** under the hood to stiffer or softer)
my front tires rub when it hits bumps, i want to make it stiffer so it won't bounce into the fender and cause rubbing

All that adjustment is is how stiff the shock is. Turning it one way makes it looser meaning it's going to travel up and down easier and have a softer ride, though worse handling. Turning it the other way makes it stiffer, meaning the ride will be very firm and the shocks will need more force to travel very far up and down. Stiffer is much better for handling, but makes for a rougher ride.
You won't need an alignment because you are not changing any suspension geometry.

will changing the shock setting to hard or softer affect the lifespan of the shock? will turning it stiffer make it so that my car doesn't bounce up and down so much? (i dont want my car bouncing and rubbing the car)

Really don't know for sure... there's argument for both sides.
Set stiffer, they don't have to travel as far, but with more resistance on the oil damping, it might be harder on the seals
Set softer, they will be traveling further, but have less damping resistance.
Whenever i travel in my car, i always turn em down to 1. Ripping around the city, i often turn em up to 4, or anywhere inbetween.
I am impressed with the response to adjustment on the AGX, for being a pretty cheap shock. 1 is plusher than stock shocks and 4 is stiff enough to give a backache after an hour of driving. On stock springs!
So, i am playing with them all the time. I've had them for about 2 years and put about 50,000 miles on them and they still work like new and don't leak.
