Default Reverse is BACK in action

I have not been able to shift into reverse for about 2 years. I finally got a hold of an SH tranny for my lude and did the swap recently. I had my old tranny taking apart and sure enough I had bad syncros for 1st and 5th, and a bent shift fork. The new tranny is great, so far . It shifts solid and reverse is f@#*ing THERE. Being able to go in reverse is some tight *** ****. I just wanted to share my 2cents about the swap because I know a lot of people have/had this problem. What would you guys recommend for tranny fluid?

let gravity or leg muscles do the work?

thats kinda funny, but at the same time, congrats. as for tranny fluid. ask a honda dealer. Honda MTF is prolly your best bet.

Driving w/o reverse is a bitch:
-Find parking spots to pull through
-Park on hills
-Pull into driveways
-Look for slopes in the street

I think the worse part was having to be careful not to pull into somewhere that I was not familiar w/ and get stuck. I used to call it g-reverse, h-reverse, and f-reverse.

G-reverse: When u let gravity be your friend
H-reverse: When your homie pushes u out
F-reverse: When u suck it up and use your feet in front of all kinds of people

HAHAHAHA. I know the feeling. Yours is worse than mine...but I just fixed my pass. side power lock. I put Dynamat on the door and the tar was holding the lock from opening. I literally fixed it yesterday. Hitting the power locks button never felt so good. lol

Hell yeah that is a bitch.. that's what i have been doing for the past few months. I'm not sure what it is a bent folk or syncros but all my gears work accept reverse. I guess i'm gon' need to get a used tranny.

Is 93 h22 tranny hard to replace or it's just like every other civic?
