Ok...i finally had a chance to replace the fast idle valve this weekend. The idle was originally bouncing from 500-3000 rpm and was really irradic. Now with the new valve in, it bounces from 500-2000.

It feels like the idle is just going too low and then the car trys to compensate and gives it gas, after a couple times of goin up and down, it just dies when it cant recover.... Any ideas?

did you do anything to the throttle body???cuz messin with the tps sensor can do this also.

sounds like you could have a vaccuum leak. I removed my cruise control, and had to move my car before I had a chance to plug the intake nipple. The idle was acting almost like it had stage 3 cams (of course without the more powerful exhaust sound)

no i havent messed with the throttle body much. This is so annoying

i have the same problem, but its only when my AC is on or blower is on, i think
