Fast Idle
Can someone please show me a diagram or a pic of wher e the fast idle valve is.. ive been having bouncy idle now... not only when cold, but now when its wartm the car it still happens... thanks!
under the throttle body
you can take it off without taking the throttle body off, but its a lot easier with the TB off than on.
theres 3 bolts (10 or 12mm) and a hose or two connected to it, just take those off/out and replace with the new one or just take it apart and pull the spring inside it apart like 3/4-1 inch and put it all back together. then say goodbye to teh infamous-pain-in-the-***-wake-the-neighbors idle lol

It's technically called the Fast Idle Thermal Valve because it's activated by heat with the wax it has inside...It's right on the bottom of yout throttle body-attached to it...Just block it off...
I did all this IAC and FITV stuff and none of it fixed my crazy idle, but replacing the intake manifold gaskets did fix it for good...they get soaked in oil from the PCV valve...
