Default Rebuilding Engine

I just finished rebuilding my engine and i need to know where the #1 cylinder would be on the camshafts. and i need to know where the plug wires go on the distributor. i will have a running H23 Vtec after i finish this part. Thanks for the help.

the number 1 cyl is on the timing cover side(at the timing belt) not to sure of the fire order off hand..

.. i know where it is... i need to know what the position of the camshafts are... i need to know if the arrows are facing up down or what..... gotta get it ready to fire tomorrow. and i need to know that. oh and i need to know where the plug wires go on the cap. as in.. plug one wire into upper left and two into upper right....

Arrows on the Cam Gears or the Camshafts themselves?? I don't know of arrows on the Cams, but the arrows on the gears should be faced the same way as the other arrows on your timing pieces, up.

he is right, when you put the cam gears on the cams, they will have arrows that will line up with the timing marks on the crank. that will tell you were they go. if you are at tdc on #1, then the cam gear arrows should be straight up.
