NEED HELP vtec problems
question for anyone who can solve it. i have a 93 prelude with h22a1 i have a p13 skunk2 chipped ecu and after i put it in, it ran fine but now when i hit vtec it sputters and almost like a bogg, i also have a fuel pressure regulator that is set a 20psi. someone please help me
from the sound of it its probably one of 2 problems it could be that your vtec solenoid is clogged if you take it off there is a tiny screen that gets clogged very easily which wont engage vtec. also i would bump up that fuel press to like 35-40 20 is too low your not getting enugh fuel
Check your oil level and your VTEC solenoid. Still, it could be that "Skunk2 chip" you bought. Try putting your stock ECU back on and see what happens.
General rule is, you don't trust chipped ECUs if you don't know what changes are made to the fuel/ignition maps.

i would also check as well the wiring. If you did an h22 swap and had to run the vtec wires, make sure they are connected good as well are ground properly. oil level is a must as well. however my troubleshooting would start with another ecu.
