Default radio problem

I recently installed a new cd player in my 95 lude replacing my stock tape player, since I just did this less then 24 hours ago my keyless entry no longer is working and now the cd player doesnt work, it seams these both happened at the same time. I am wondering if the anti theft radio thing will affect the opperation of the radio, I am thinking it wouldn't but then again i have heard of weirder electrical problems. Any help or feedback is apprieciated.

Well, on the 95, i pretty sure that the locks and radio have nothing to do with each other. Did you use a wire harness or did you cut and splice the radio in? I would take the radio out and verify all of the connections. Also check the fuses maybe you grounded something out when you were putting it in.

All fuses are ok I just got done checking and yes I used a harness (not a butcher here) I sodered all the connections so I doubt they are bad.

95 radio has nothing to do with keyless unless somehow a +12V cable was shorted. Did you check fuses under dash AND under hood?

The theft feature is part of the radio, not on the car. That has nothing to do with your problem.

Does your clock still work??

Then the fuse under the hood for your stereo works fine.

Maybe incorrect wiring of the stereo?? Crossed wires??
