CD Player problems..
Got my car back from midas couple weeks ago, and since i got the car back, the cd player won't turn on...owner would replace or fix anything saying it wasn't their problem, it was mine or some ****...anyways, ive re-wired the adapter and my cd player, check the fuse under the dash and the fuse behind the cd player and everything is just peachy...still nothing comes up, any ideas?

Try taking the radio out and check (with a multi-meter) that you actually have 12V (switch and constant) at the wire harness. If you find out that you don't have 12V's, then you know it's something wrong with the wiring... but if you do have 12V, then you will know that it's a problem with the CD player, in which case you'd have to take it in for service.
Hope this helps.

Check ALL of your fuses, not just the radio fuse. Many of the systems in your car will draw power from the same fuse, even though the fuse name may not suggest it. Don't forget to check any fuses under the hood as well.

So,
You have +12 going to the constant, and the ACC. leads at the stereo harness, and the ground lead is measuring 0 ohms verse the battery negative? <-- those are the only 3 wires you need to turn either deck on.
If everything checks out, as you say, then your OEM deck and your aftermarket are fried.
sorry about your luck.
