Pulling out a H22a4 engine

Default Pulling out a H22a4 engine

i have a h22a4 wit a 5 speed transmission, im tryin to pull out the engine but the transmission keeps coming up, i got out all the outside tranny bolts but is there bolts connected inside to a flywheel that i need to get out too? i look inside from where the starter was i see little bolts.....

ummm.. why dont you just pull out the whole transmision and motor together..its alot easier.
normally, i would tell you to get the manual..
but in anycase.. once you have all the wires disconnected.. fuel line, and return line. shift cables, vacume line. and your left with just the motor mounts..
start with the 4 bolts in the back for the rear trans mount (i pull the motor from up top)
then work your way to the front. then do sides.. should be all thats left..
I alsoo take out the axles, when i pull out the mots or.
now this is assuming that it 5 gen.

go underneath theres a bracket the holds the engine/trans near the oil pan if im right u need a 10mm and 12, 14

yea i got that off already, since thats off should the engine slip righ out to the side?

well i pulled a engine out from my accord, witout pullin the transmission and it was easy for me that way and now i got the h22 wit a 5 speed tranny it looks alil different from an auto tranny, if anything ill jus take the whole thing out if im having problems doin it the other way

Sounds like your trying to pull the engine out at an angle and the clutch / input shaft for the transmission is getting in a bind. Try putting a pry bar between the engine / trans to seperate them then lift the engine.

i ended up jus pulling the engine and trans together, yo ludedude i try that already it jus would come apart for some reason, but yea everythign out, jus waiting on my new h22 now, thanks people
