Default Question about engine stands for our engines.

I picked up an extra engine that I'm going to rebuild/build stronger, so is there a certain kind of engine stand (do they come with an assortment or bolts for the engine?) that has the right sized bolts to connect to honda engines?

as far as i know stands don't come w/ bolts. i know mine didn't. Just check your helms for the correct thread pitch and diameter. i think its something like 1.25x12....but don't quote me on that, its been a long time since i checked. Then just pick up some washers and 4 bolts from your local hardware store, make sure to get strong bolts though.

Got my stand at Pepboys for like $50. Engine sat on that thing for about 6 months, worked like a charm. May want to get a oil pan/ splash pan to clamp to the bottom of the stand, cause stuff will leak.

Oh yes and make sure the bolts are the right pitch, you dont want to cross thread your transmission bolt holes
