Default Problem with AC switching on

My climate control AC button won't switch the AC on. The green light that is supposed to turn on doesn't turn on either. I haven't had working AC in this car since I got it because there was no freon in it and when i went to get freon put in today the shop told me about my AC button not working. They said the compressor and everything is fine and the only problem is that the switch isn't working to activate the AC. This climate control came out of my other lude and worked perfectly before the swap. The AC worked in the other car and the green light on the AC button lit up as well. All other buttons light up like they should and work perfectly but the AC is the only one that doesn't work, yet like i said it worked in my other lude. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

the soldered joints in the climate control have broken. you have to rip apart the climate control and resolder them. search this topic and you will find a write i believe.

Yeah it sucks. Mine is still holding on by a thread - just have to punch the dash and it usually comes back on.

well I have my climate control taken all the way apart and according to this link: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1377562 I should be able to just slide the circuit board out by gently pusing on the green plug toards the opening. I have taken out all necessary screws and can't get the circuit board out. I've done much more then just "gently push" on the green plug and it won't slide out. Any pointers on how to get it out?

mine doesn't work right away either.

I usually just hit a pot hole or a speed bump and it does the trick.

ok scratch that I got the circuit board out. But even after resoldering all the points I still have the same problem. I even resoldered all the points on another climate control. So after having resoldered all the points on 2 climate controls and having the AC button work on neither one of them i'm beginning to think something else is the problem...Everything else works perfect on both the climate controls after resoldering the points but the AC button works on neither. Any other ideas...?

Are these solder points supposed to have holes in them like this? The circuit board from my other climate control has a couple that look like this but not all.

get your multimeter out and see what sorta juice is flowing through that circuit and follow it from the source until where it stops, then figure out what to fix, dont jump to conclusions so easily.....
