Default Oxygen sensor location??

I have two oxygen sensors (that I know of) on my car. I have one right after my exhaust manifold, and one right after my cat. I also have one in my cat that is cut with no wires anywhere close to it, but I was told that that is because my JDM engine had 2 O2 sensors and my USDM body had 3 O2 sensors, is this correct? I have no troubles getting the O2 sensor that is near my manifold off, but the one right after the cat is a bitch. It is vertical on top of my exhaust and there is no room to get a wrench anywhere near it. Is there a trick to getting this one out. If I cant get to it, do I have to unweld my exhaust to take it out? I really dont want to do that. Thanks.

Did you try to use a special oxygen sensor wrench? It helps a lot.

I used a 7/8 wrench as well and it got the one near the manifold no problem. The problem is that the one after the cat is completely unaccessable. Anyone know anthing about this? Its pissing me off!!!
