No Crank No Start Solution? (98 Base)
Before I begin, Ive searched this issue on many forums including this one but every thread concludes with no solution, the thread just dies.
I never had an issue starting the car for the past year then it suddenly wont start with the key
all of the fuses regarding the ignition are fine (50A&100A), I even tested the ignition switch (Helms Procedure)
I believe I know where my problem is after following the flow of power with my multimeter, but even after replacing the relay i get no power to my remote wire.
I basically used the diagram as a snapshot to show what happens when I turn the key over
I've replaced the starter cut relay with a brand new denso unit and nothing changed
Even my immobilizer gets power and my key doesn't flash so i know for sure thats not the issue
So I was wondering if tapping into the (white/red) wire and the (black/white) wire to a start button to partially bypass the relay connection and just engage the starter and main relay with a start button? I know the power current is kindah high, would that be enough power to fry the button itself?
Id honestly like to just keep my key to start the car but its nice out and Im getting desperate :-/
