Need H23 Vtec Build Help!!! Will my combo Work!!!???
I have an LA Sleeved h23 block that is 88.5mm in bore. I also have a set of high compression wiseco pistons (88.5mm) with lunati H23 Rods (5.572 Length). Basically my question is can i use an h22 crank to build this motor because the H23 Crank i have is chewed up. Id like to be able to spin it a little higher than 7500 rpms...Im hoping the shorter stroke of the h22 crank and the shorter h23 rods will help me accomplish that without losing too much quench in the combustion chamber. the pistons with an h23 head and rotating assembly were rated at 12.9:1 so i have some compression to spare. Im not sure what the combustion chamber differences are between my old h23 head and my new h22 head.

wait... you are going to call mine and rosko's car slow and you cant even come up with a setup? Much less punch a few numbers to see that you are dropping the compression considerably with the h22 crank...

I dunno who you are but im using my brothers account on here because i dont have a honda-tech account. This is my first honda build. I have 3 LS1's...im just doing this for fun...
