Knock sensor to retared timing?

Knock sensor to retared timing?
I got this direct port nitrous system that im puting on sometime this month, and i need something to retarted timing. 
i was wondering is there a way to use the knock sensor? From my understanding when the KS kicks in it retared the tmiing about 2 degrees. is that right? his was just and idea i had running around in my head. Thanks

no knock retards timing and adds fuel. it stops working at 5500rpm then goes to normal. vtec can engage with code 23.
