reset timing after knock sensor thrown?

reset timing after knock sensor thrown?

i know the knock sensor retards the timing so after i correct the knock sensor would i have to reset my timing?

It only retards it as long as it hears knocking. Wouldn't hurt to check your timing, tho - it's pretty easy.
