Default Help Needed: Car won't start...

My car won't start and the check engine ight is one. already checked the ecu for a code and it has none and a friend of mine told me that he didn't hear the fuel pump activating when I put the switch on... Could this just be a fuel pump change and ready to go?

you need to test if fuel is getting to your injectors, your friend might not have tested the pump right. im sure he did though.... do a search.

your car needs fuel spark and compression to start. your car is turning over right? your compression should be good then.... are you getting spark? you need to test that too.... last is the fuel... then you need to go down the list of testing fuel problems.
fuel pumps are a pain in the *** and expensive. you might not need to change it, what if your looking in the wrong spot for the fuses? you have some inside the car and under the hood.
check your spark, then move to fuel....

There is spark...we tested the pump and it worked...fuses are ok...could it be the connection from the ecu to the pump?
