Yeah I think the Mugen header should have the same cat(2.5")and cat back exhaust as your product to be fair in the dyno plots. My Mugen bolts up directly with 2.5" piping(test pipe in place of cat) and then through to a custom 2.5 inch "cat back" exhaust.

I knew you'd say that Ritteri . But I obviously agree, it would be necessary in all fairness.

Where do you get that funky 3 bolt flange for your test pipe to bolt to the header? My supplier doesn't have anything even close to that.

Can we count on you to send us your Mugen header for the test?

funky 3 bolt flange??? I got my test pipe at http://www.testpipes.com It was a direct bolt on to the header. So I dont quite get your question. They make both a 2.25" testpipe and a 2.5" testpipe. And both bolt into place where the stock cat goes with absolutely no modifications whatsoever. So please maybe go into a bit more depth on what your speaking of.

As for me lending out my Mugen Header...................I may be willing to do it..........Ill think it over.

The inlet flange of the cat/outlet of the header is a 3 bolt flange but 2 of the bolts are close together. On standard 3 bolt flanges the holes are spaced every 120 degrees. I may just be able to build a cat back starting at the stock location and then use your test pipe and build my cat to that length.

I'm in Richmond, VA, have the Mugen exhaust and should have the Mugen header before the end of the month. My cat is stock. I can come up, and depending on how much time will be needed, I could go half on the dyno time myself; I just want to see the numbers side by side to see if I wasted my money. If the SMSP unit is all that, I'll sell the Mugen.

Yet another question for you that no one's asked yet: What's the weight of the SMSP unit? The Mugen unit weighs in at about 16 lbs. Sorry for the apparently goofy comparisons, but I'm funny about adding extraneous weight to an already heavy car, so...Just curious...

Cool. They're 10 minutes or less from me and like about 2 minutes from where my mom lives. They charge by the day, hour, or run, correct?

Just asking: You wouldn't have to modify anything on my car to do the runs would you? I hope not...

Thanks for the offer.

Please let me know when you get your header. I'll try to find out some of the differences in the cat back systems of the 2 generations of cars. Maybe I can build a cat back system on Corey's car and then have that ready when you come up and make whatever is needed to run that system on your car.
