found problem need answer to problem
Finally got around to pulling the engine out of my lude again. As some might remember it's a boosted f22a1. I parked it after getting a knock from the bottom end and was sure that it was the aftermarket bearings that I put in it. Well, once I got the engine out I pulled the pan and there chillin at the bottom of the pan, like it's suppose to be there or something, is a thrust bearing. This would explain my cold 90psi start then after 2 mins of running 3-5 psi on the oil gauge
... All my rod and main bearings are in great shape and these were not the culprits of the knock.
My question, for the builders out there, how did my thrust bearing come out of the groove and end up in the pan. The main cap has a horrible groove in it, could I have accidentally installed the thrust bearing backwards? I'm not going to attemp to put this block back together until I get ready for my f22/h22 hybrid. I do have another f22 with headstuds to fix the terrible head lift I was getting, and I have new bearings in the bottom end of this new block.. I guess now I am going to honda in the morning to order thrust bearings for my new block
The blue bitch will soon roll the streets again

were they aftermarket? It must have either been loose after you put it together or possibly installed backwards and then wore it down quickly so it fell out
you prolly just put them in backwards. they have a chamfer on the one side and that should face the crankshaft.
If they were in backwards with that chamfer facing the block it might not be enough to catch the edge and may cause it to spin.
Its also possible that your oil pump could be damaged if you didn't already mention that.
