Finishinig off my car: last little problems
Hey well my car is runing, but not very well.. I have code 7 for tps and code 20 (electrical )...tmw im adding some more grounds, and checking mine out.. but i dont know what to do for the tps.... i guess ill justu buy a new one!
started the car up and 2 seconds later i recived a code 7 for tps... The tps plug does not fit 100 percent good on it. (doesn't snap in, but pushes to the max --- i think?).. i guess the TPS sensor could be busted too... just making sure i got the right plug??
for grounds: i plan to add.... alternator to rad frame, thermo tot tranny ground, waht else?
The car also smokes white (old gas + octante booster) i hope its normal.., car has only rn bout 20 minutes Total
idle is smooth

why did you start a new thread with the same problem when this one still exists ---> https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1549068
?
edit: look at the tps plug inside and make sure the pins arn't bent

Pm me your email, ill email you the cel flowcharts, this way you dont waste $ on a new sensor and it end up being wiring/connection.

Can you even buy a new TPS? Don't you have to buy the whole Throttle Body to get a new TPS?

I believe the eld(code 20) is in the fuse box. The tps code have you had the sensor off the TB. did you replace it right meaning did you fit the slot in the slot. You can definatly put the tps on wrong so make sure its on right. before buying a new one.

Also check your voltages and make sure they are right at idle and WOT. And for the record my tps plug also has a green, a red and a yellow wire like yours does, so i'm betting you have the correct plug.
