who has wired up a vtec solenoid with a zdyne one wire ecu? i need your help. do i wire into the plug or the wire itself? also what's the other plug for?

 

mine was wired with a zydne single wire ECU... i personally did not do the ecu install, but will take a look at it.

I got a manilla folder full of paperwork with my SECU Gold... Where's your paperwork. It explains everything very well.

 

just take the wire that comes out of the vtec solinoid, butt connect/solder/tie it to a longer piece of wire, and take the longer piece of wire, shove it through the hole in your fire wall, find out where it should go in the ecu clip, cut the existing wire, butt connect/solder/tie the longer piece of wire to the shorter/recently cut piece of wire and pat youself on the back for your ingenious attempt at using your imagination.

i did not get a manilla envelope. i just got one piece of paper with the pin for the ecu and some vauge instructions. i assumed that it went to that one wire but wanted to be sure. is that other plug there the coolant temp sensor?
