Default F20b timing

So i got a new motor put in,and the car doesnt seem to wanna go but is backing off..i got the trans serviced this time along with the general service and was told the flywheel timming seems to be different to that of the camshaft, as advised by my mechanic therefore the car isnt performing....should i get this sorted asap or is it nothing to worry about as in would this harm my motor

Needs fixed if true. Pull off thr valve cover, line gears up at TDC, then check that the mark on thr flywheel is also at tdc. There's a little rubber grommet you pull out right on the front of the trans to see.
