Default Shifter gets sticky when warm?

94 Si 5spd

It seems that when I drive the car to operating temp and when the outside temperature is warm, the shifter gets sticky, as in when you move it to the left or right, it just sits there. If the car hasn’t been ran, it moves just fine.

I tried looking up the problem but I could only find people with the opposite symptoms, shifter gets stuck when cold. Some said it could be the fluid, so I’m gonna try that first. Others said it could be the bushings. Which bushings could they be, the ones that attach on the transmission, or the ones in the car?
