engine light
engine light came on and i got it scanned and it says vtech system fault bank 1 i hear it is the vtec solenoid. what do you guys think it is and if its that how much do u think it would cost to get the part/ out in maybe. i called a dealership and they were not very helpful so im asking for help on here. thank!

VTEC, no vtech.
What year is your car? What was the code?
If it is OBD1 you can scan it yourself with a paperclip, and if it is OBD2 you can also scan it yourself but you have to buy a $50-60 scanner....just FYI.
