Sorry, but that's faulty logic. There have been lots of performance cars without seat belts either . . . but that doesn't mean seat belts should be removed.

And if you have ever had to make an emergency stop without ABS when half the road is wet and the oher half dry, you'd know why it's stupid to remove it. Or even worse, in the winter when half the road is snow and the other half slush . . .

Steering control in an emergency >>> a clean engine bay.

Daemione, i didnt ask if it was a good idea or not i asked if it could be done without a problem. Not everything in my car has to be practicle for everyday driving. Some people are not scared of making sacrifices to their car to be different then everybody else.

had a friend a few years ago who lost control of his ford ranger and flipped it over a freeway overpass. he was ejected from the truck and thrown a good distance. the truck was destroyed and an EMT who responded to the accident as well as a police officer both agreed that had my friend remained in the truck, he would have faced certain death. essentially, not wearing a seat belt saved his life.

my car (and probably the majority of those individuals on here cleaning up their engine bays) will never see snow, winter, rain, adverse elements, etc.

were not ignorant...removing abs is a calculated risk. its not like removing your brakes altogether. we all have moms who bitch at us for **** like this. on with thread...
