what is this??
i have installed the full race traction bars on my 92 da and had to remove this unknown part out the way or else it would just be left hanging. i know it has to do with the brakes but not sure what exactly it is. any help would be appreciated.

Do you have ABS, because that looks like nothing from any conventional brake system. My guess would be something with ABS since you think its part of the braking system, but I'm not sure since one of the lines just has a worm screw clamp on it, but I'm not familiar with DA ABS systems though.
That is the power unit for the accumulator, and yeah, it is part of the ABS system. Basically, it increases the brake pressure to allow for more effective ABS modulation.
