you mean your trying to get the axles to slide onto the splines of the intermediate shaft?,

make sure that the snap ring isn't destroyed and lube everything up

That's the worst part of replacing the CV boot. You just gotta be patient and line it up right. Make sure it's greased up good.

You can get the new ring at the dealership. I don't know if they sell individual parts.

Remember be patient or you'll F something up. haha

let me ask you, is ur driverside axle a male inner joint? or a female one like the h23/22 axles?

if it is a male inner joint, it sounds like you the wrong axle. sounds like your trying to shove a passenger side axle into the female intermediate shaft.

if you look at the splines on the driverside axle, it should run the full length of the inner joint. if the splines are only about 1" long and the rest is smooth, then you have a passenger side axle, which wont go in even if you pound it with a sledge hammer.

well the axle is the right one....its a female into the male IS, its the same axle that was on there before...it worked perfect.

try cleaning both the male and female ends, and make sure that the splines arn't all gauled up, if some how you managed to force it even part way on wrong and the splines get messed up that thing is goig to be a bitch..

and its the same axle and intermdiate shaft you had on before?

pull it out, then pull the CV boot off, then put the bearings back in. reassemble the axle then slide it back in.

pull the shaft, and axle out, connct the axle to the half shaft, then connect the half shaft to the tranny. ive had this problem before also. i think it was because the tranny wasnt in correctly ...but try it, tell us if it works
