I also wanted to add that turning the fuel feed line around like O.E.P. mentioned does not work on a 4th gen.. i tried and it's actually worse. Anyways, I hope this post clarified some of the more confusing parts of the install laters</TD></TR></TABLE>

nice pic, it looks damn good to me, also i guess my fuel rail is different now that i think of it, it is a side feed as opposed to a top feed, my bad!

To make this install easier, you can use an ITR throttle body. It is identical to the Euro R throttle body and makes up perfectly to the Euro R manifold.

oh ok thats why at least it was worth a try.. i had to take off my fuel rail again anyways. theres alot more engine bay space now other than that minor issue.

Wait a second... YOu did that and you thought my install looked rinky dinky? Wow, just wow.

That may work forever for you, but the advice i'm going to give you is to have it welded.

Welding might be a little overkill... Not everyone wants to/is able to run out to their local welder, if they have one... Nothing a little JB weld or some silicone and gasket material can't fix....

I understand that, but i was just referencing him ******* the crap out of my adapter plate that i made saying that it looks like it'll fall off, and then him using jb weld on an intake port. Although it may never happen, I personally wouldn't want to take the chance of something breakin' off a piece of that stuff and it getting sucked up, but that's just my personal opinion.

whoa calm down man i wasn't "******* the crap" out of you.. i actually give you props for doing this install w/o the aid of se93's kit. if your bracket works good then thats all that matters. and junbb1 jb welded his t/b too and his is holding up fine. frankly i can't afford to buy a new t/b if a welder accidently heat warps it or does a crappy job. i don't know any good ones to make that kind of call and i don't want to trust anyone with it. if it does come apart somehow i would rather save up for a better t/b.

well i found my air leak after reading all this and it is a very smale space at the bottom of the TB for the two fast idle ports, hopefully if i get modivated i can post a pic, but it is suck a very smale air leak that explains why i was idling at 1200,

now that i know where the problem is , i just have to figure out what to do about it.

Overkill is a bad word for saying that. Welding is always better (and should be done) then JB weld. All JB weld is a expoy. IF you do not prep the surface for it to stick, it will not stay. Now, if you have it welded (or weld it yourself), a good welder will prep the surface to be welded. But, like oNeMoBB1 pointed out, you have to check if it warps.

oNeMoBB1, I am glad to see you get it running good, you drive it yet?

I've been driving it around experimenting with removing the resonator from my Type-S intake arm. feels like i lose torque taking off w/o the resonator but gain in midrange. It might just be my imagination though. The EuroR manifold no doubt feels better than the stock mani now i'm just waiting to figure out what to do for tuning before i go to the dyno.

I agree... Bad choice of words... It isn't overkill to weld but it is not entirely necessary... How is that...
