Default GE intake manifold

i have a h22 eg that i recently purchased a GE intake manifold and 70 mm str tb for. After port matching the TB flange and the manifold flange to my head, i noticed that it doesnt have a throttle cable bracket basically what im asking for is info on how i should mount the throttle cable. If anyone has pix of their setups that would be coo. Anyone with info, please help out... thanks in advance...

you have to make a bracket... its not hard just take the old one keep the side of the bracket that bolts on to the mani and cut and weld to what ever lenght you might need to make the cable work... make sure tb opens and closes all the ways also

im not sure, i havnt had a chance to make sure but i think i got it. my manifold is at the shop i work at and i havnt had a chance to try it out since i came up with it but i think it mounts with one metal bracket underneath the 1 and 2 runners and the other metal piece on top of the 1 and 2 runners. then they stay in place with the two allen bolts... and you put you stock throttle bracket to the wholes on the universal cable mount. let me know if you think this makes sense.

seems kinda ghetto but if it works thats all that matters

yea i just tried it today. it fits coo. kinda weird that the old bracket has to mount to it facing up instead of towards the valve cover but whatever. saves me time from having to get a bracket welded on. =\
