Default Confused

Got a 95 coupe and i was gonna go f22 block with a h22 head on boost both are built, I mean machined port and polish, the works. Yet now im hearing that i should put a single cam accord vtec head on my block instead. any ideas would help.

why would you want a SOHC head?? that makes no sense - yea you'll have reliability but no power at all - the head is what makes our motors, bottom ends suck - also in reality the only advantage of the f block is that its not FRM cylinder walls, which is easy fix if you just build your block for boost from the get go...

yea the block is built and yea i used that block because its cast iron but i also read and saw many people saying that the f series has the best flowing heads.

yea true but that still says nothing for SOHC

thats just a bad idea dude - stick with 2 - love the vtec- love the power

just bc it has one cam doesnt mean its not worth building with the right setup(cams,compression ratio,good tune)SOHC can blow by a DOHC and yes this is coming from a DOHC owner

well im getting mixed reviews does anyone have any proof. I have heard the F head flows better but people are saying no because its a single cam. Does anyone have and faqs.

honestly dude before you drop the amount of cash your looking into - you think it might be a good idea to research more than rely on honda tech???
