Car keeps stalling
Ok, this is what happens. I start the car and it runs fine as long as my foot is on the gas. If i let go it stalls. This happens everytime. My check engine light came on for error 43 so it has something to do with the Fuel System. Has this happened to anybody before? What should i look for? I read that it could be the O2 sensor or maybe fuel filter?? Is this correct. I thought i ask here first.
I don't know if this would help but this problem started after my timing belt broke/valves bent and i rebuilt the head and replaced the belt.
Thanks

Ok, here's the deal. I went to take off the o2 senser and the damn thing poped right out. Somebody replaced it before because it was a BOSCH aftermarket. Plus, whoever put it in, welded it in. Maybe because it was too small. Maybe that explains why my car wouldn't stay running and why i was getting error 43 from the check engine light.
Yea, im going to buy one tomorrow. I'm going to replace the fuel filter as well. It's like my engine isn't getting enough fuel or something. It runs with my foot on the gas and then it just stalls out....i can also smell smoke coming from the exhaust. I hope im fixing the right part.
Only because I've replaced every sensor, the fuel filter, fitv, iacv, coil, igniter, dizzy, main relay and I haven't fixed mine. It possibly could be the O2 which I replaced also but I just don't know!

At first the car wouldn't spark. I replaced the dist., cap, rotor, coil, plugs, and wires and the damn thing still wasn't starting. So i replaced the ECU and now it starts but stalls without my foot on the gas. It run perfectly past 3000RPMS but once it get below 2000 it starts huggin and chuggin and then eventually stalls.
