no Check Engine Light on with broken o2 sensor
Ok so here it is, I just broke my o2 sensor when I changed the gasket between the front pipe dans the headers. The car seems to run fine. I have no Check engine light on, But since a while, the car smells like gas. Could that be it ?
If not, well any clue about that ?
Spec: D15b jdm (OBD1) into 98 civic.
P.S. : I know that the check engine light works cause it came on when I'm starting the car.
Sorry for spelling.

@pedro
I would suggest replacing that broken O2 sensor. It can help the ECU in giving the right mixture of air and fuel. If not replaced, fuel consumption will increase. Hope this helps.
