I have a 99 Prelude Type SH and for some reason I don't think the ATTS is working. I can somewhat tell because when I put my key in the ignition and turn it to ON but not start it, the ATTS light doesn't come on (apparently it's suppose to) and when I take corners, I don't exactly feel it working. Also, my car threw a check engine light for about 2 months because my catalytic converter was dead and the ATTS light never went on (apparently the ATTS is disabled when the CEL goes on)

Is there any way to diagnose this problem or find out what's going on? It never goes on so I can't pull a code or anything.

 

Replace dead or missing bulb. Try again.

 

Turns out it was the bulb. The previous owner pulled it out... so I went to the dealer and bought a new one and plugged it in. Now it stays lit on all the time. How do I grab the code? Does an OBD2 reader work?

You need to read the ATTS techical manual and do the troubleshooting. There is also a functional test you can do to ensure it is working properly. Try the below link to download the manual.
